• Barcelona is one of the most modern cities in Europe and a centre of new trends in culture, fashion and gastronomy. It combines the creativity of great artists, architects and designers while preserving its traditions and authenticity.
• On the tour you will visit major attractions and sights such as the iconic Sagrada Família, Montjuïc hill, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view of Barcelona, and Port Vell or the Old Port, turned into a shopping and entertainment area for the 1992 Olympic Games. You will not miss the iconic Rambla, the Gothic Quarter, the houses built by the brilliant Gaudí, Passeig de Gràcia, Casa Batlló, Plaça de Catalunya and the Christopher Columbus monument. Free time for a stroll.

• A visit to Montserrat Abbey with the miraculous Black Madonna

• Santa Maria de Montserrat is an abbey of the Order of St Benedict, set on the Montserrat mountain in Monistrol de Montserrat, Catalonia. The monastery was founded in 1025 and rebuilt between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. With a community of about 70 monks, the abbey is still active today.
• The Black Madonna of Montserrat, or La Moreneta, sits high above the congregation with her hand outstretched, while her left elbow is richly decorated with Venetian mosaics. Inside the basilica shadows dance amid flickering candles and golden ornaments, while the voices of the famous Boys' Choir fill the spacious air.
• Getting to the monastery is an adventure in itself. As the train approaches Montserrat, the jagged peaks of the mountain range appear before your eyes. Then the monastery comes into view, as if perched impossibly high among the granite rocks. How was such a building ever built in such a place! On the way back from the monastery - a stop for a wine and tapas tasting.

• A guided visit to Park Güell in Barcelona

• The park is one of the largest green spaces in Barcelona - more than 17 hectares, next to the Serra de Collserola. Located in the Gràcia district, the park has two large areas: the monumental zone, a UNESCO World Heritage Site covering 12 hectares, and the adjacent tourist zone, covering another 8 hectares.
• As well as its architectural heritage, the park is also a nature reserve, with beautiful gardens and biodiversity in the heart of the city. The visit includes the Gaudí House Museum, where the architect lived from 1906 to 1925, recently reopened after renovation.

• The day begins with a visit to Salvador Dalí's birthplace - the town of Figueres - including the Dalí Theatre-Museum. This place is not just a museum - surprises await you at every step! A real theatrical show created by the master of Surrealism - every room is a metaphor, every detail “plays” with your mind! Here you will also find the crypt - the genius's final resting place.
• After the museum you will visit the old part of Figueres, where you will feel the atmosphere of the town that created and shaped the brilliant artist.
• The next stop is the city of Girona. A popular film location for many productions, the city impresses with its ancient Roman ruins and beautifully preserved medieval architecture. You will stroll through the Jewish Quarter and see one of the architectural wonders of Gustave Eiffel - one of the bridges over the Onyar river - the Basilica of Sant Feliu and the Gothic cathedral.
• After a day full of emotions, impressive views and history, you will end with a wine tasting. The excursion includes a visit to a local family winery, where you will taste 3-4 white and red wines from the Empordà region, as well as a glass of cava. The visit also includes a talk by a local professional sommelier, who will tell you the history and characteristics of the different grape varieties.

• Treat yourself to an unforgettable journey along the picturesque Costa Brava! The trip begins in “the Blue Paradise” - Tossa de Mar, one of the pearls of the Spanish Mediterranean. This beautiful little town is a favourite not only with Hollywood directors: after the filming of “Pandora and the Flying Dutchman” it became a favourite holiday spot of Ava Gardner.
• The locals later honoured her with a statue on the seafront promenade in Tossa. A guided walk around the town, a visit to the twelfth-century fortress and free time.
• The next part of the day is devoted to a boat trip. Only then will you get a real idea of the beauty of the majestic pre-Pyrenean hills, which run their sheer cliffs and majestic cypresses right down to countless romantic sandy coves.
• Time is planned for the beach and swimming, as well as for lunch in a restaurant of your choice (not included in the price).
• After lunch comes a visit to the Ethnographic Museum, with an exhibition of traditional Spanish costumes, crafts and the history of the small fishing villages that have become today's famous, cosmopolitan Costa Brava resorts.
• “The icing on the cake” of this wonderful trip is a visit to the famous “El Paratge” winery. Here a tasting of over 20 different wines and Spanish specialities is included - cheeses, authentic Spanish jamón and turrón, the delicious nougat usually made from almonds, one of the legacies of Arab culture.

• Travel to Spain requires a passport or ID card, valid for at least 6 months after the date of entry into the country.
• Please note that your Bulgarian-speaking representative for the Costa Brava provides service by telephone only. The representatives on site in the area speak English.
• No additional vaccinations are required.
• Prices of additional excursions offered locally may change, or excursions may be cancelled for reasons beyond the tour operator's control, such as bad weather or force majeure.

• IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TRAVELLERS

• The trip is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
• This information may be updated at any time as new requirements and regulations are introduced. The tour operator reserves the right to change the order of the excursions in the programme. The museum fees stated are based on the information published on the websites of the sights concerned.
• The price may change in the event of: changes in transport costs (fuel), airport, port and other fees; a change of more than 3% in the exchange rate between the date the contract is signed and departure; an unforeseen price increase by our partners, as well as in other objectively necessary cases. The exchange rate used to calculate the programme is EUR/USD 1=1. - Due to constantly changing fuel prices, airlines may charge a so-called fuel surcharge. In such a case, the tour operator reserves the right to change the travel price by the actual amount of the fuel surcharge, and it will be payable for all bookings on the flights for which it is charged, regardless of when they were made. Fuel prices in the programme are calculated at $1000/tonne and 1 euro = 1 dollar. If fuel prices change, a fuel surcharge may be charged. This surcharge must be announced by the tour operator and paid by the customer no later than 21 days before the departure date.
• The airline reserves the right to update departure and arrival times, and the tour operator will inform passengers in good time.
• The tour operator is NOT responsible for expired identity documents or documents valid for less than the period required for entry into the country, or for changes in museum fees and opening hours.
• Foreigners who entered the Republic of Bulgaria with their own transport (car) may not leave the country by another type of transport.
• Children under 18 travelling without their parents or with only one of them must carry the original and a photocopy of a notarised declaration that both parents, or the parent not travelling, consent to the child leaving the country. If the child travels with both parents but they have different surnames, the child's birth certificate and a copy of it must be provided. In all cases we recommend carrying the original and a photocopy of the birth certificate of travellers under 18. The documents are for the Bulgarian border authorities.
