Opus Travel is a Bulgarian online travel agency and tour operator offering a wide range of journeys in Bulgaria and abroad. We put them together with carefully selected partners and destinations we have checked personally, taking an individual approach so that we can understand each client and suggest the destination and type of trip that suits them best. From group tours and individual holidays to special hotel rates, cruises and yacht charter - we are confident there is something for every taste.
Our own taste leans strongly towards culture, art, history and cuisine, because it is by immersing ourselves in them that we can say we have not only visited a destination, but understood and felt it. And come back enriched - carrying a piece of it with us forever.
Why "opus"?
The word comes from Latin and means "a work of art". If you love classical music, you may have noticed the abbreviation Op. followed by a number - it marks the place of a piece within a composer's body of work.
What fascinates us about travel is that it combines the practical with the ideal. A good trip needs a well-thought-out route, a detailed programme, the right hotel, precise organisation and well-planned time - the details matter.
And then comes the other part. A place that makes you slow down. Music from a café that stays in your head. The sunset at the end of the day. A story that unlocks long-forgotten memories or inspires you to dream about the future. The aroma of a local delicacy. The view that suddenly makes you understand why you travelled so far.
