Location: Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena is in the very centre of the mountain resort of Bansko, directly opposite the first station of the gondola lift.
Accommodation: The hotel was built in 2005, and its spa centre was last renovated in 2018. It has 157 units in total: 110 Deluxe double rooms, 21 Executive double rooms, 14 Junior Suites, 7 Deluxe Suites and 3 Alpine Suites, spread over five buildings. All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a telephone with voicemail, a safe, a desk, a minibar and high-speed Wi-Fi, as well as an electric kettle with complimentary tea and coffee. The bathroom has a bathtub, a separate shower and a hairdryer. Every room has its own balcony with a mountain or town view and a double bed or two single beds. The suites, located in buildings one to four, also have premium bathroom amenities and a DVD player, and guests staying in a suite receive a VIP welcome on arrival.

A baby cot is provided free of charge on request. The hotel and its facilities are wheelchair accessible. House-trained pets are welcome on prior confirmation, for a one-off fee of €25.56 plus €10.23 per day.

Sport and spa: The hotel's spa centre has been fully renovated with thermal facilities by the leading German company Klafs: a Finnish sauna, a herbal sauna, an infrared cabin, adventure showers, a deep-relaxation zone, a designer aroma steam bath, a heated relaxation bench, one indoor and two outdoor pools, a children's pool, an indoor and an outdoor jacuzzi and a unique snow room. With a total area of 1,200 sq.m, it is one of the largest and best-equipped spa centres in the country, offering seasonal treatments, exclusive cosmetics and authentic Eastern healing practices. Kempinski The Spa is a journey inspired by the changing seasons, with authentic Thai and seasonal massages, face and body treatments and couples' massages. The hotel's signature treatment, "Arbū Rose Garden", is an organic face or body therapy. The spa centre is open from 08:00 to 21:00.
