Departure by tourist boat to Capri - one of the most famous islands in the world: a blend of lush Mediterranean nature, the luxurious lives of emperors, artists and lovers of sea adventures, and one of the most expensive resorts in Europe. A rich sightseeing programme with a local Bulgarian-speaking guide, visiting the island's two towns - Anacapri and Capri. In Anacapri you will enjoy breathtaking views from the panoramic terraces and see the “Phoenician Steps” - in the past the only route linking the island's two towns; you can visit the villa and garden of the famous Swedish physician Axel Munthe, admire the majolica floor of the Church of San Michele, take the chairlift to the island's highest point - Monte Solaro - or soak up the island's atmosphere strolling through the picturesque streets lined with local luxury boutiques selling renowned linen clothing and souvenirs. A traditional tasting of Italy's most famous liqueur - limoncello, invented here centuries ago. Capri, the island's administrative centre, charms with its old narrow streets full of designer boutiques, the famous Piazza Umberto I, the majolica bell tower and the town hall. The town ends at the Certosa monastery and the Gardens of Augustus, with a wonderful view of the serpentine Via Krupp winding down the cliff. You can also take a romantic boat tour to the famous Faraglioni rocks and the enigmatic azure waters of the coast. Return by boat to Castellammare di Stabia.

*Entrance fees for Villa San Michele (€10 per person), the Church of San Michele (€2 per person) and attractions such as the chairlift and boat tours are paid on the spot. The visit to the island depends on sea conditions but takes place regardless of the weather.

Optional half-day excursion to Pompeii. In ancient Pompeii we will have a 2.5-hour art-history talk in Bulgarian. No other city in the world has been preserved so well from antiquity to the present day, and it is no coincidence that it is the most visited archaeological site on the planet and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the only entire city in the world to have survived a volcanic eruption, with superbly preserved buildings that still hold their decorations, frescoes and mosaics. The perfectly preserved streets, fountains, squares, craft workshops and gardens act like a “time machine”, taking us into the reality of the Roman Empire - a majestic epic of emperors, patricians, Roman architecture and design, and the culture of ancient Italic society.

The capital of Southern Italy, with three thousand years of history, sits grandly on the bay of the same name in Campania, with magnetic views of the famous silhouette of Mount Vesuvius. The city pulses with life and invites you on a charming walk among exquisite ancient Greek and Roman sculptures, mosaics and frescoes, imposing medieval castles, Renaissance and Baroque palaces of powerful aristocrats, elegant churches, Liberty-style villas and galleries of modern and contemporary art. From the colourful centuries-old streets to the charming promenade and elegant squares filled with the aroma of the famous gelato and pizza, seafood pasta and countless boutiques of designers, artisans and traditional shops, to the elegant cafés serving authentic Neapolitan coffee. A UNESCO World Heritage Site. Panoramic tour of some of the best-known sights and views, walking tour of the historic Santa Lucia district, the town hall, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito with the Royal Palace and the Teatro di San Carlo royal opera house, and the Galleria Umberto. Art-history visit to the Certosa di San Martino museum on the UNESCO list, famous for its exquisite Neapolitan Baroque, works by Italian painters and sculptors, and its magnificent panorama over the Bay of Naples.

Optional full-day excursion “The Park and Royal Palace of Caserta”. In the morning we will tour the centre of Caserta, followed by free time for lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the Royal Palace of Caserta - the largest royal palace in the world, with a magnificent park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the last and largest palace-and-park ensemble in Europe, built at the wish of King Charles in the second half of the 18th century. The vast residence has 1,200 rooms, 34 staircases, more than 1,900 windows, four courtyards, chapels, museums, a theatre and a library of over 15,000 volumes. The opulent royal apartments are furnished with unique and highly valuable furniture and decorated with marble and paintings by famous artists. The palace gallery is divided into several sections, one of which holds portraits of the kings and queens of the Bourbon family. Around the palace stretches Italy's largest Baroque park, covering 120 hectares, whose wide green avenues, sculpted fountains and cascades mirror the majestic architecture of the royal residence. In the charming English Garden you can see rare and exotic plants and a small lake with a statue of Venus. In 1997 the Palace of Caserta became a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Amazed by the lavish architecture of the palace, director George Lucas decided to film several scenes of the “Star Wars” saga there.

The journey by water reveals the Amalfi Coast in all its splendour - the rocky shoreline and emerald-green sea are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit to Amalfi - one of the pearls of the coast, on the northern shore of the Gulf of Salerno, with its alluring white seaside architecture. Free time in Amalfi for a stroll and sweet treats in its renowned pastry shops. From Amalfi we will continue by boat to Positano, with its famous panoramic view. The town is an unforgettable feast for the eyes with its colourful, picturesque scenery. Its beauty has been celebrated for centuries, making a visit to this resort town a romantic experience. Free time in Positano for shopping in its chic boutiques and a cocktail by the beach of this renowned resort.

- The order of the excursions is indicative and is reconfirmed for each group according to Italian tourism regulations for the sites, the season and local arrangements.
- The programme is not recommended for people with reduced mobility.
- Flight times may be changed by the airline. Any change to the flight schedule may change the order and times of the visits.
